Crib Stacking on slopes, Ladder Leveling, and Wheel chocking

All-In-One Rescue Tool. Terrain ready performance!

The FireWedge is a multifunctional rescue tool that is used in fire rescue and emergency response situations (specifically extrication and ladder operations).

It is a highly durable product made in the U.S.A that meets and exceeds NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI Standards

3 different functions (high friction factor for all)

  1. Fire Ground Ladder Leveler (provides a anti-slip, stable, firm, level base for a variety of ladders on sloped or inclined ground surfaces).
    • allows a ground fire ladder to be safely used on a slope or uneven terrain.
    • drastically reduces the risk of falling from a ground ladder.
    • aids in preventing ladder kickout for rescue angles of inclination and bailout on all types of  surfaces.
  2. Vehicular & Aircraft Extrication Cribbing
    • stackable cribbing on slopes and flat ground!!!
    • heavy lift stabilization with NO sudden failure.
    • anti-slip, stable loading block for quick and safe vehicle cribbing on all types of terrain and compound slopes/inclines.
    • aids in preventing vertical movement, tilting, rolling, and sliding of vehicles during extrication operations.
    • NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI compliant.
  3. Emergency Wheel Chock
    • aids in preventing vehicles or aircraft from rolling/sliding during rescue operations.
    • provides the wheel chocking function for large fire apparatus, aircraft and wrecked vehicles.
    • doesn't break if a driver/operator accidentally tries to drive over the wheel chock.
